GlobalVaults (“we”, “us”) is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through globalvaults.org, how we use it, and your choices. We aim to follow Canadian privacy law, including Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the federal PIPEDA, and we respect the privacy rights of customers in other countries, including Nigeria’s Data Protection Act.
What we collect
- Account and order details: your name, email address, billing address, and what you bought and when.
- Payment details: payments are processed by WooPayments, which is powered by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, contact form or social media.
- Technical information: your IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies and our hosting provider’s logs.
- IELTS practice progress: your scores, attempts and study profile are saved in your own web browser on your device. They are not sent to our servers, and we cannot see them.
How we use it
- To process your order, deliver your products and give you access to the IELTS Masterclass app.
- To create and manage your account, including password emails.
- To answer your questions and provide support.
- To prevent fraud and keep the website secure.
- To send you news and offers, but only if you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the store:
- WooCommerce and WooPayments (Automattic) and Stripe, for orders and payments
- Namecheap (EasyWP), our website host
- Email providers, to send order and account emails
Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States. Your information may therefore be subject to the laws of those countries. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies to keep you logged in, remember your cart and currency, and understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the store, such as checkout and your account, may not work without them.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes, usually at least six years. We keep your account until you ask us to delete it. Practice progress stays in your browser until you clear your browser data.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete your account. Email support@globalvaults.org and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your access to purchased products, and we may need to keep some order records for legal reasons.
Security
Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and payments are handled by Stripe’s secure systems. No website is completely secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.
Children
Our products are intended for adults preparing for study or immigration. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
